Small Groups meet various times and days

Wednesday Nights 6:30PM to 7:30PM Adult Classes

GROUPLINK is a biannual event that gives you the opportunity to learn more about Small Groups and meet other people interested in Small Groups.  After a short presentation, you will have the opportunity to ask questions, and then have the opportunity to sign up to be placed into a Small Group.

At First Baptist Church, we believe that by participating in Small Groups people have the best potential to be encouraged, equipped and challenged to grow in their relationship with God; all while experiencing authentic Christian community through meaningful relationships, prayer, encouragement, and serving together. In this BELONG environment we celebrate the successes and good times of life, as well as comfort one another in the tough and disappointing times. Groups are always encouraged to find ways to serve together, live out the truths you discover in the Bible, and encourage others to do the same.

A Small Group consists of approximately 10-12 adults who meet once a week in a relaxed, informal, caring environment. We offer Spring and Fall Semesters; although specific times, dates, and locations are set by each individual group.  Child-care is available for groups meeting at the church on Sunday nights.

Date: Begins January 9th
Time: Wednesdays @ 6:30pm

HOSEA Women’s Study – Unfailing Love Changes Everything – Led by June Buckles – Room 230

Hosea Bible Study author Jennifer Rothschild has a story for you. It’s about an unlikely couple, an unusual courtship, and an illicit affair. But the marriage didn’t end; instead, a love story began.  It’s Hosea and Gomer’s love story and it is your love story. Be amazed by the unfailing love of God for His wayward people, and for all people. Hosea showers us with hope – hints and portents pointing to the coming of the promised Messiah.

RECLAIMING JESUS Adult Bible Study  – Pouring New Wine in New Wine Skins – Room 107 – Led by Brian Seibert

Once upon a time our faith was irresistible.  Today we preach, teach, write, and communicate as if nothing has changed.  What can we do to turn the tide back to the church of Jesus?  It’s time to hit pause on much of what we’re doing and consider the faith modeled by our first-century brothers and sisters who had no official Bible.  What did they know that we don’t?  What made their faith so compelling, so defensible, so irresistible?  Lets discover how to win people to Christ with Christ.
